We've been following their rise to off-road stardom for quite some time now and we've been nothing short of impressed! Founded in 2012 by Dan DuBose the mission was simple, produce SOLID, QUALITY parts and trust me, they nailed it and continue to do so.
As a Jeep JKU owner who really abuses his rig, I will be the first to tell you that I have been waiting quite some time to DT (double triangulate) the rear of my Jeep. There are some challenges and some hefty upfront costs to make this happen. However, if you have the money (most of us do not) its about the best performance upgrade one can do to their rig. Hence why I have been putting it off like most people have for quite some time.
If you looked at your options in the past, there just weren't very many. Least we not forget, one of the biggest hassles is getting a fuel tank or a fuel cell that will work.
Having the dreaded side tank, DT suspension just wont work without removing it. Motobilt to the rescue! We finally have an affordable, aluminum, 22 gallon fuel tank option! Before you had to either lose your space in the rear of the Jeep and put a fuel cell in or you had to buy another manufacturers overpriced tanks and it simply wasn't something I was willing to do.
Now on to the meat and potatoes of this post, the 4 link system these guys have engineered to perfection. This system has you covered from front to back. You can run a DT four link front, a three link front and of course the DT rear suspension that we all dream of. The skid system left no stone overturned and they really put a ton of thought into the engineering of this system and I can happily say that I am thoroughly impressed.

Ready to transform your Jeep JK Unlimited to a whole different level of suspension capabilities? Wanting to upgrade to 1 ton axles?
Our MB7000 Jeep JKU 4 Link Suspension Bracket & Skid Kit takes all of the geometry guesswork out of your build. Our kit includes all of the frame mounted bracketry to allow you to build a true double triangulated rear 4 link suspension and either a triangulated 4 link front or 3 link front suspension.
Our kit includes a new heavy duty removable transmission cross member that replaces your factory cross member, a removable heavy duty ¼” thick high grade steel skid plate that follows the contours of the transmission cross member, a new rear frame cross member which also acts as a skid mounting system and is an integral structural member to support the rear 4 link bracketry.
This kit will allow you to have clearance for an aftermarket transfer case, like the Atlas II or Atlas IV. Your passenger mounted factory fuel tank will be omitted & moved to the rear. We have rear mounted aluminum fuel tanks, steel skids & EVAP modification kits available. We also offer a rear frame back half kit that also works well with our proven suspension kit.
The front lower brackets are designed to accept 2-5/8” wide joints. The front lower joint holes measure 5/8” diameter which you can drill to a larger diameter, if you choose.
The front upper brackets are designed to accept 2” wide joints. The front upper joint holes measure 12mm diameter which you can also drill to a larger diameter.
All rear brackets are designed to accept 2-5/8” wide joints. All rear joint holes measure 5/8” diameter, and can all be drilled to a larger diameter, if chosen.
All joint pivot bolts are 100% recessed & protected, yet still easily accessible with standard tools for maintenance & future repair or service. We know, it’s a crazy idea, but we actually put a lot of thought into the simple little details, like being able to protect every bolt so future repair of your vehicle is easy, with regular tools!
All front brackets are located using factory frame hole locations for ease of installation. The rear brackets key into the new rear cross member & are scribed to fit perfectly to the inside of the factory frame. All brackets require welding to the factory frame.
All joint plates are ¼” thick high grade steel. The skid plate is manufactured from ¼” steel with CNC press brake bends for added strength & includes a mid-span gusset plate. The skid features six (6) drainage weep holes, as well as, countersunk mounting holes for a completely flush under belly. No hang up points for obstacles!
All mounting points for the skid plate have machined threaded holes in their mating structures. No need for fish plates or nuts to remove the skid plate.
Parts are shipped as fully welded sub-assemblies. Parts are shipped as raw steel. Weight = 240 lbs
